Why do you design everything in cardboard?

Cardboard is a warm, natural and soft material with ideal constructive characteristics. Paperfurniture has an interesting appearance, which initiates fantasy and creativity.The feeling of touching cardboard, its simplicity and distinct beauty makes you feel balance and harmony. Cardboard is probably most recyclable material of all.

Does your furniture inflammable?

Our furniture are built of special quality cardboard sheets that hardly can be ignited even intentionally. The light salt sollution makes paper completely incombustible. Material prepared this way fits the strictest fire protection rules of the European Union. Anything you put on our paper shelves will probably have greater chance to cause a fire than the shelf itself.

How Stable is your furniture?

This is special heavy-duty quality material, stronger than an everyday cardboard used for packaging purposes. Our furniture are stable by design. Have you ever tried to crack an egg by stressing it with two fingers at its ends? It's hard, not because of the hardness of the eggshell, but the shape of the egg that takes and shares the pressure. We are following similar principles in design. Elements wearing weight are always supported on multiple points, so a single shelf can even hold for heavy loads.

How long lasting your furniture is?

For maximum recyclability, furniture in our webshop is not treated by any chemicals. All surfaces of our furniture can be painted and decorated any imaginable way. But if you need scratch and damage resistant, long life furniture, we recommend waterbased painting and lacquering methods that can turn cardboard into long-lasting material that ages with a patina.
